Cancellations and Reschedules​

The Booking Fee is non refundable however a reschedule can be requested with no additional fee

Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice are subject to 50% ​of the fee before a new booking can be made unless the appointment can be filled by another client from my cancellation waitlist (this can vary)

No shows and cancellations on the day are subject to a 100% fee before a new booking can be made

The full amount as stated on the booking email is still payable, if you change your mind about part of your service e.g. no cut required with the colour but have booked both services, as time will have be allocated approprately and this is a loss of business

Appointments that are persistently changed over a short period of time will be cancelled with the risk of no further booking being taken

Whilst illness is unavoidable, please do not come to an appointment with a heavy cold/cough/under the weather. A judgement should be made in these circumstances to the severity of illness and if unsure please contact me to discuss.

Nicky McKenzie Hair reserves the right to change appointment times slightly to enable the efficiency of the online booking system

Cancellations made in exceptional circumstances may not be subject to further charges but this is discretionary e.g sudden serious illness
Colour​ing
-
Colour consultations and skin tests must be completed for all new colour clients.

Tint allergy tests must be completed at least 48 hours before a colour service.​

Please advise if you have changed medication as this can affect your hair.​

Temporary colour sprays/powders should be washed out before a tint appointment otherwise coverage cannot be guaranteed as these act as a barrier.

Please advise if you have had a new allergic reaction to any dye products

Please advise if you have had any recent henna or tatoos

Please advise if you have used any home colour of any description in between visits as this may affect the result of your colour - this includes heavy use of purple shampoos

Please advise if you experience scalp tingling or burning during or after your appointment

Under 16s are unable to reeive hair colouring services due to not being covered by insurance.

Colouring Services over 8 weeks will incur a long regrowth surcharge which will be confirmed before the appointment begins.

​Payment

All major credit cards are accepted with the exception of Amex. Bank transfers can be made at the end of your service.​

Nicky reserves the right to change the price to reflect the amount of time and product used.​

Cancellation Policy
72 hours is requested for any appointment changes so someone else can be offered the slot.

Less than 48 hours notice will incur a 50% charge of the full amount.

No shows will be charged at 100% of the hair service before a rebooking can be made.
